Topping the list is the apple which we all know that an apple a day will keep doctors away. Apples are the best food for our kidneys because they contain pectin, a soluble fiber that lowers cholesterol and glucose. The work of our kidneys in our body is to filter our blood several times a day.

On the other hand, pectin works to reduce the risk of kidneys damage due to high cholesterol or high blood pressure. Apples can easily be integrated into our diet because it can be eaten as a snack.
